Fun pack to have and try. The Regular and Royal were excellent, along the lines of Lane 1Q; the aroma of the cherry smelled like the cheap cologne in a strip club; didn't care for he Round and the Gold wasn't as good as the Royal. But it was fun to have the varieties since I tend to smoke 1Q.
A great first buy.

The great price and range of different flavors for this taster pack offered me a great opportunity to try my hand as a first timer at pipe smoking. Some tastes won't be preferred but it's all up to the individuals taste. That's why this is such a great "test" pack. And since the shipping was outstanding I highly recommend this.

Capt. Black is a great smoke. What more can one say? So far I've enjoyed 'Gold' and am eager to enjoy all the other blends in the sample pack. I highly recommend the sample pack!

Captain Black's 'Black Cavendish' tobacco blends are glorious. I'm happy with this variety pack because now I know which Captain Black I like best. The 'Royal' blend is by far the best with a rich delicious taste, aroma, and buzz(which is all I'll buy from now on), followed by the original White blend. I find the Gold too hot and sharp. I originally thought the 'Round Taste' to be a joke, but have come to appreciate it for a morning smoke; it's pretty smooth and mellow. The 'Cherry' is something I'll never buy again, it's pretty much a joke, with a faint cherry aroma, but at least it's not overpowering with sugars and cherry sweetness. Just get the 'Royal' blend.

Great way to sample these tobaccos. Full size packs at a reasonable price. I did not like the cherry or round taste, but that's a personal preference. The original Black and White is still my favorite.
