Very mild & clean burning. Tasty stuff. I agree with one of the reviewers ablout letting it dry a bit. Think you will enjoy it more if you do.

This tobacco was nice, but I prefer a smoother tasting tobacco. It was aromatic and the house smelled nice, but the taste is a little too bold for me.

This is the tobacco I smoke most of the time - naturally sweet and simple in terms of quality, taste, etc.. An extremely good, natural, and high quality tobacco. Just superb!

MacBaren Virginia #1 is, to my taste, the best Virginia out there and I think I've tried most of them. It is sweet & mild, yet it satisfies with a good nicotine content and pleasant aroma. I highly recommend it if you like to inhale your pipe smoke occasionally as I do.

My MacBaren came a touch wet, so be aware that it might need to dry out just a touch before you light it up. That being said, it is a very nice mellow smoke with a noticeable touch of sweet and a nice pre-lite aroma.
